What is DataStride?

DataStride is a learning platform by OranjeStride for SQL, Python and GenAI. You learn by doing: guided lessons, a browser-based studio, practice questions and assessments with verified progress.

Is DataStride free?

Yes. You can create an account and learn SQL, Python and prompt engineering at no cost. AI help comes with a daily allowance, and every practice dataset is free to download.

Do I need to install anything to practise SQL or Python?

No. You write and run SQL queries and Python programs in the DataStride studio in your browser, so there is no database or Python setup before your first lesson.

What data do I practise on?

Relational datasets modelled on Indian industries, such as e-commerce, UPI payments, logistics, payroll, hospitals and airlines. Each has linked tables, a data dictionary and starter queries.

Can I learn prompt engineering on DataStride?

Yes. The GenAI track teaches prompt engineering with hands-on exercises, alongside the SQL and Python tracks, so you can learn to work with AI tools as well as data.

Who makes DataStride?

DataStride is built by OranjeStride, whose aim is to help people stride into decision intelligence by learning the data and AI skills that real work needs.
